Joshua Werner is an author and illustrator from the Detroit area and the Founder and Art Director at Source Point Press. He has done illustration work for products for several licensed characters and properties, including Night of the Living Dead, The Wicker Man, Transformers, Doctor Who, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Evil Dead 2, Deadworld, Warlord of Mars, Vampirella, and many more.

Josh is the author of the books “The Brutality of Fact”, “Adoration for the Dead”, “Rampant”, and several popular short stories, such as "The Invention" and "Osiris". He has also worked on over 20 other books, either editing, illustrating, writing, or doing cover design. His illustrations can be found in popular books such as “Sherlock Holmes: On the Air”, “Zelda’s Zombie Zoo”, “H.P. Lovecraft’s The Tomb” and “H.P. Lovecraft: Early Stories”.

Josh is the artist on the comic book series "Jack of Spades" from Source Point Press and did pencils, inks, colors, and letters on a “Jack of Spades” prequel story in an anthology published by the Michigan Comics Collective. He’s also done art for "Source Point Presents", "Zombie Rush: Riot" (licensed comic adapted from the iOS App videogame), as well as cover art for “Renegade”, “Frankenstein: Or the Modern Prometheus”, “Horrors and Heroes” and other comics and graphic novels. He recently did pencils, inks, and lettering on an exclusive Superman comic story appearing in the program for the theatrical musical “It’s a Bird, It’s a Plane, It’s Superman.” He wrote, illustrated, and lettered the horror comic story “The Painting” published in the 13 Little Hells anthology.

He also did the colors, lettering, and design on the “Holliston: Friendship is Tragic” graphic novel, adapted from Adam Green’s Holliston TV show officially licensed by ArieScope Pictures.

He is currently doing art on the upcoming graphic novel “The Creepshow: In Necrogeddon”, licensed from Toronto-based psychobilly band The Creepshow.
